Hotel Information: The Silver Legacy is a 1,720 room Victorian-themed hotel. The exterior facade of storefronts re-creates views of Reno in the 1890s and early 1900s. Interior décor includes international antique and art collections, dark woods, marble floors and rich colored carpeting. The property encompasses gaming and convention space. It also houses a comedy club, five restaurants, and the world's largest composite dome (featuring a 120-foot high automated mining rig, and laser/light shows). Silver Legacy is connected by skywalks to the Eldorado Hotel Casino and Circus Circus Hotel Casino, spanning six city blocks.
Amenity highlights: The Silver Legacy's headline concert series, Catch A Rising Star comedy club, and 85,000-square-foot casino provide plenty of entertainment options. Guests looking for a more restful experience can take advantage of the health spa and adjacent seasonal pool, both tucked away in a quiet corner of the hotel. LuLu Hair Salon is located in the lower valet lobby at street level.
Insider tip: The Comstock-era artifacts showcased in the hotel’s lobby are real—ceramic bottles, pitchers, and spittoons were all unearthed at various Virginia City dig sites, and are part of a rotating display.
